By now you should have already received:

  • Hepatitis A & B

  • MMR (Measles, mumps, rubella)

  • Tetanus – Diphtheria

  • Polio

Which means you still need to receive

  • Typhoid

  • Yellow Fever

  • Malaria

Start by:

  • Calling your physician to see if they can give you any of these shots

  • If your physician cannot give you the above shots, call the following travel clinics.

    • Prices will vary, so you should call around.

      • Keep us posted on what you find out!

    • Your insurance likely will NOT cover these medications, but you should always check.

  • You need to call BEFORE April 10. Make sure you tell them you're leaving June 10 for Rwanda and will be gone through June 24. You'll be in Kigali and Kibuye.

  • You will need to receive a CERTIFICATE of VACCINATION for Yellow Fever.

    • This is required for entrance into the country.

    • Once you receive this certificate, photocopy it and give it to Jen.

  • You may also want to inquire about a prescription for traveler's diarrhea
